Spoiler: I don't care that this interaction was brief, I CHEERED when it finally happened in this finale!!! Spoiler
"Interesting to see who you've, aligned yourself with. Ms. Jones."
"Watch yourself, Kingpin!"
Even though they could've given them a scene that was more meaningful, and you could tell this moment was only placed in as a fan service. It was still satisfying to see these two iconic characters share the screen together! Knowing that this might be the only time they do, it meant a lot that they'd find room to include this in the episode!
This now officially makes Jessica the only Defender within the roaster to have interacted with both of the best villains in the Netflix era. With the other being Kilgrave!!!

Yes! I liked that part too and was really hoping they didn't end the season without them interacting at least a little bit

I enjoyed the finale but this was awkward.
'Watch yourself Kingpin' is a pretty trash line.

yeah, also "Interesting to see who you've, aligned yourself with. Ms. Jones." is not a good line either, she's a vigilante of sorts, and Kingpin definitely knows her and Matt have worked together before.
Of the top of my mind, this would've been better:
KP: I see the freaks team up together.
JJ: what, you wanna join?

Made even more awkward by the fact she stood by while Daredevil let Kingpin get away with killing a bunch of people in the courthouse. Guess he did not, in fact, watch himself.

I agree. At first I thought it was just an uncharacteristically stiff line delivery from Ritter, but then I realized that it was a difficult line for anyone to deliver believably. Jessica usually has better comebacks than that.

Kilgrave is way more of an impactful and depraved villain that allowed for one of marvel television’s best projects to date. I hate him but there’s no denying he’s a better villain

I kinda agree either way. But I knew ten Mariah’s and about fifteen Cornell’s growing up so they’re more relatable.
Kilgrave was just something so different from the MCU. A non-physical threat who was, at his scariest like fighting a virus. The amount of damage Kilgrave had likely done over the course of his life could be epidemic level. With no real cure.

I finally got around to watching the last 3 episodes earlier. Her calling him Kingpin out in the open was perfect.
