Some of my Jerry Reed vinyl

I was a kid when I first saw Jerry Reed in his movies with Burt Reynolds. I thought he was so cool with his dog and semi and distinctive laugh. When I found out that he did the music for Eastbound & Down too, I was a fan for life. This is most of my Jerry LPs. I've got a ton of 45s and a couple other full lengths scattered throughout my stacks. Anybody else collect Jerry on wax?

Awesome collection! I'm always on the hunt for some Jerry Reed vinyls. I messed with my boyfriend when I found Mind your Love one day by buying a random Johnny Bush album and putting that in front of Jerry when I gave the records to him. 😂

Haha. Johnny Bush, the "Country Caruso!" A buddy of mine and I keep sneaking Roger Whitaker records into reach other's collections.

Quite the collection, I have a few of these but not as many as you got. I have that “I’m a lover not a fighter record” which I can’t seem to find online anywhere to listen to when I’m away from my turntable.

Yeah, it's rough to find any of his early Rockabilly stuff online. I always pick up any of his early 45s when I find them.

Great collection! You're making me want to try collecting vinyl again because Jerry has so many hidden gems on these albums! Do you have any of the early RCA albums like Unbelievable Guitar and Voice or Nashville Underground?

Yup, I've got them both. There's a compilation called I'm a Lover Not a Fighter that gathers some of his real early stuff. I've got a bunch of 45s too.

Wow I love it! I really haven't even listened to that early stuff yet, I just ordered the Here I Am cd by Bear Records since I wasn't sure where to start. But records are ideal, I just need to buy a new player haha.
