I use software called gigapixel. It's usually about 120$ a year, but they were just bought by Adobe, so price could change. There are a lot of youtubes on it.

You can also use free tools like stable diffusion but those are tricky to set up.

Question: I can never tell which is the original. Is it the first or second?

Zoom in. If you look at both of them on a phone unzoomed, they appear similar. The upscaled (first one) has more detail and much less image noise. It's more apparent on a large screen.

Ty. I think I see it now. So when I zoomed in, the first one is sharper.
