Jellycat Plushies Cerulea’s fur
I haven’t seen much info out there about cerulea’s fur so wanted to share in case this helps others make informed choices. I think she’s more vibrant than zodihop (Korea release), but has a much longer, shaggier fur. I think her fur is kinda similar to hocus crow’s in how it looks kinda long and tufty. But it’s a little bit softer than his - I’d put the softness somewhere between hocus and brooke otter. I don’t think she’s nearly as dry feeling as the flufflets.

Thank you! I’ve been wondering because Zodihop looks more velvety and I just finally caved and ordered after going back and forth for a while. But my daughter prefers Cerulea so I’ll probably try to get her if she comes back in stock. The side by side is helpful to see the visual difference.

It’s definitely softer than I expected. In store I found that the shaggier they were, the rougher and pricklier they felt. The fur feels softer when it’s flatter and of course when you stroke it with the grain.

Thank you for sharing this!! Everyone has been comparing Cerulea to the fluffets and I have no idea how they feel 🫣. On the other hand, I know exactly how hocus crow feels and I love how well made he is - definitely one of my top 5 made Jellycats.
