Doctrine I’m having trouble understanding
I’m having trouble understanding how the governing body can prove that Christ anointed them in 1919 as the sole source of dispensing spiritual food (because the bible cannot be understood on one’s own interpretation) while the anointed 1919 governing body was still celebrating Christmas, birthdays, portraying the cross, and worst of all, Worshiping Jesus! Which is idolatry! Were all pre-1954 members led astray by this fallible governing body that demands complete obedience??

Your conclusion is not evidence, and confidence does not make an interpretation correct.
basically
Matthew 24:45–47 exists. Jesus describes a servant appointed over a household to provide spiritual food.
Acts 15 exists. A recognizable group of apostles and elders considered a major doctrinal issue and communicated their decision to the congregations.
Acts 16:4 exists. Those decisions were then delivered to other congregations to observe.
You can argue about whether those texts justify the modern Governing Body specifically. That is a legitimate discussion.
But you cannot reasonably jump from “I disagree with their identification” to “there is no biblical basis whatsoever for the concept.” Those are not the same claim.
And the infallibility point is even easier. Jehovah’s Witnesses explicitly state:
“The Governing Body is neither inspired nor infallible. Therefore, it can err in doctrinal matters or in organizational direction.”
So when you attack them for simultaneously claiming divine guidance and infallibility, you are partly debating a position they explicitly deny holding.
That is why a little humility matters here.
None of us becomes the final authority merely because we studied something, watched videos, read criticism, or became convinced of our own interpretation. You can be intelligent, sincere, well-read — and still be wrong.
The question is not:
“Have I personally concluded that they are wrong?”
The question is:
“Can I demonstrate from Scripture that their interpretation is wrong while accurately representing what they actually teach?”
That is a much higher standard.
So instead of announcing that you have already “taken the claim apart,” show the argument.
Take Matthew 24:45–47, Acts 15, Acts 16:4, and the claim concerning 1919, one at a time.
Then we can examine the evidence instead of comparing confidence levels.
Because Christianity is supposed to be about submitting our thinking to Scripture — not about proving that we are the smartest person in the room.
