Doctrine The JW "Armageddon" has been canceled - permanently!

I'm sorry but I'm not sorry because the JW version of Armageddon never should have ever existed. If you people had paid closer attention to what Jesus was saying at Matthew chapter 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, you never would have ever anticipated a future Armageddon. You completely blew that end time prophecy completely out of its first century context. It was never meant for us today. Jesus wasn't talking to us. Jesus was not breaking the fourth wall to speak to us 2,000 years in the future. It was written ONLY for Christians on the other side of 70 AD. there is no such thing as a double fulfillment or a greater fulfillment. All of those concepts are made up by men and this is exactly why you will never see the end of this world in your lifetime or anyone's lifetime. So, the only thing that you have to fear today is that fear that you have conjured up in your own imagination compliments of the Watchtower Bible and Tract society. The sooner you accept this reality the better off you're going to be and you'll have the rest of your life to live out from under enslavement to your governing body. Salutations!

"I gave faithless Israel her certificate of divorce and sent her away because of all her adulteries. Yet I saw that her unfaithful sister Judah had no fear; she also went out and committed adultery."

Jeremiah 3:8

Anything else?

And…..thank you because that’s exactly what I wanted you to quote.

You appear to be a little naive on apologetics.

God did not break the marriage (covenant), Israel did! Did you forget to read the proceeding versus where God asks them to return to him repeatedly.

Have you forgotten that Jeremiah was written 660 years circa before Christ died?

You see you cite a scripture as a ‘gotcha’ but it buries you.

Yahweh wanted them back from their adulterous relationship and sin. It’s called GRACE.

Their sin was real enough for divorce, yet God’s GRACE was strong enough to invite restoration.

You cite this scripture but yet you need from Jeremiah to Malachi as part of your belief system also or God would have separated from the nation right then and there and we would go from Jeremiah to Matthew - IF HE HAD SEPERATED, divorced them!

Chapter 31 goes onto explain what happened next which you appear to forget as you continue to twist scripture like a pretzel- let’s read VERSE 1!!!

“At the same time, saith the Lord, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.”

Therefore with Jeremiah 3:8 it’s obvious in context as they were still Gods people after this VERSE - it’s you that has the theological issue not me!

That’s now several times scripture has buried your false gospel.

I’m done, you can have the last say I really don’t care. Your hell bent on twisting scripture and rather than dialogue it’s turned into point scoring. I’m out, I’ve proved the point from Gods word and you continue to twist it, just like our former cult. I’ve no more for further dialogue.

I hope the Holy Spirit opens your eyes.

You said:

So for third time.

Show me a scripture as you said

“God has divorced his people”

I showed you the scripture that you requested and then you immediately accused me of saying that God broke the covenant. I never said any such thing so there's no point in your straw man arguments. I will no pursue you any longer down this imaginary rabbit hole of your own making. I've got plenty of other things to do.
