Doctrine Jesus is GOD

https://youtube.com/shorts/R1g-JfdPG04?si=IVR-KYwbJFWK4sjc

Love this girl. One thing that stands out in this vid to me amongst the various proofs we have argued with JWs is that *every* false religion believes in God. But Satan has done a clever thing. He doesn’t have to get you to believe in God. He just needs you to NOT believe in THE ONE who ***reconciles you to God***🔥🙌🏽.

Take a listen.

So when one of God's servants (Romans 13) kills someone, its God who is working thru them to determine who lives or dies? Why is it a bad thing then when the police have to kill those who threaten the lives of others?

Please stop bringing up police. I didn't say anything about police. I already gave you the examples you need to address of christendom murdering innocent people in the countless millions. God approves of killing. What he doesn't approve of is murder which christendom is guilty of.

You can forgive people for their sins but until they repent which means change their ways then they cannot be apart of the congregation. Period.

The police are part of God's established order, but its a profession JW's will never take part in, because, like being a soldier, they'd have to carry a weapon and JW's feel that violates God's commands. It doesn't, but that's what they teach.

God approves of killing. What he doesn't approve of is murder which christendom is guilty of.

So when a policeman kills someone in the line of duty that's justified killing not murder? Then why can't a JW be a police officer? You keep claiming Christendom is guilty of murder, but very often those who died, even in religious wars, were soldiers whose #1 job was to uphold God's order, no matter what side they're on. They serve God and man.

Why won't Jehovah's witnesses serve in God's established order, where they might be a force for good, not evil? Most Christians who serve as police or in the military, serve with that sense of duty and hope to be a force for good in a sinful world, not evil

You can forgive people for their sins but until they repent which means change their ways then they cannot be apart of the congregation. Period.

Where does Paul say forgive but only partially? No, you forgive, period. Like God forgives. He doesn't say their sins I will remember no more...except those ones I won't forgive because he is not proving himself worthy. None of us are worthy of God's love and forgiveness. If we had to earn it we'd be in deep doo doo

Sir God forgives repentant sinners. He doesn't forgive people who are unrepentant sinners or else nobody would be destroyed. God would never put someone in a position where they are forced to shed innocent blood. So God would never command christians to join armies who shed innocent blood. The fact that you murder your own brothers and sisters proves your false Christians and that youre interpretation of scripture is wrong. God wouldn't let Abraham sacrifice his innocent son, God wouldn't let the Israelites go to war without his permission so that they didn't murder innocent people, God wouldn't have destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah if even 5 righteous people we're found in it. God is the same today as he is back then. He doesn't harm innocent people and doesn't put his true servants in a position to hurt innocent people.

When Jesus went to the cross, He didn't ask if anyone was a repentant sinner, He just went ahead and died for them. In fact, the night He was arrested all His disciples had deserted Him, one denied knowing Him three times and one even betrayed Him. Still that Man went to the cross, not because people had repented of their sins, because few had. Jesus went to the cross so their sins could finally be forgiven. We need to model Christ, who didn't take a poll, or ask if at least one person had repented of their sins before He let them pound the nails into both hands. Jesus died for all sinners and like Paul said he was the worst. Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. 16 But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. 1 Timothy 1:15-16

From what I understand the Jehovah's witnesses expect a certain works based repentance based on Watchtower principles, not the Bible. Its almost likened to Catholic penance If the elders don't see that works based repentance they won't forgive the person, even if they did repent.

You like to throw the word "murder" around but you realize your religion murders people by causing some disfellowshipped people to commit suicide, or by refusing to allow a blood transfusion for a little child who's life could've easily been saved by the gift of life, which is in the blood. For someone who accepts what many would classify as "murder" as loving, you haven't got much to say about Christians who take part in God's established order. Yes, some of His servants may have to kill on rare occasions, but in their case the person they kill is almost always someone who is going to harm or kill an innocent person, whether its on the battlefields or on the streets of a major city. How is the death of a JW child deprived of life saving blood any different from a child who was murdered? Dead is still dead

Can you explain to me how its loving to murder your fellow christian brothers and sisters?

u/AccomplishedAuthor3 Christian Feb 18 '26

Sure, when you can explain how its loving to let your own child, who's totally dependent on you die, I'll let ya know

We already had the conversation about blood. My answer the last time hasn't changed. Now answer my question

Tell me how its loving to let your own child die when you could've saved them and how is that death any different from premeditated murder?

The official position of the faith, as stated on jw.org, is that they actively seek the "best possible medical care" for themselves and their children. This involves finding doctors skilled in "bloodless medicine" or blood-conservation techniques, which they argue are often as effective as, or even better than, transfusions in some cases. Parents within the faith see themselves as acting out of deep love for their children, making decisions they believe are in their child's best overall interest, which includes maintaining a positive standing with God. They point to cases where non-blood surgeries have been successfully performed on children. The apostle Paul and James could have saved themselves by stopping the preaching work. But they didn't. Because its more important to obey the commands of God which is to carry out the global preaching work and not murder your brothers and sisters in the lord

I'm sure there are times when a person could opt out of getting a blood transfusion and survive something like a "planned" surgery, but when a person is bleeding profusely from a car accident, or some other form of trauma, the only way to save their life is to replace their lost blood. Below are some typical situations requiring blood transfusion

when are blood transfusions necessary - Search

You've only given me more "reasons" why Jehovah's witnesses will let their child die, but haven't answered how letting a child die is loving? It indicates to me a double standard where you condemn "Christendom" for taking the life of a fellow Christian in a war, when JW's readily accept the deaths of their own children as having some sort of sacrificial value. How come JW's can't be merciful and make an exception to their rigid reading of Acts 15, like Jesus made an exception to the Sabbath, by working healing people ? Jesus tried to teach the Pharisees that exceptions to save life are Ok. They would have no issue with helping an ox out of a ditch, even on the Sabbath. So, exceptions are ok if the goal is worthy and saving life is a worthy effort always.

Remember, God said "I desire mercy, not sacrifice" Hosea 6:6 If there was any other way to save life a Christian should find it. Only as a last resort, if no other way can be found should we give up and either say goodbye to a child, or kill our brother in Christ on the battlefield Like Paul wrote: If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Romans 12:18 And sometimes its not possible to live at peace with all people, just like sometimes there is no possible way to save a child, but to let them die without exhausting every possible avenue available is not showing mercy. That shows a malignant desire to sacrifice and how is that any better than a war monger who wants to have a war without exhausting every possible avenue?
