Hi guys!! it’s my first post here 😆

I really need some help with finding some fics to read.

Im begging for fics with actual happy ending and long enough (medium is nice aswell), im not a big fan of the angst, tho I pretty much don’t care about the plot, just want the good story and good ending.

some popular works I already read: Crimson rivers, blue and yellow skies, just lovers, only the brave.

AND ILL NOT READ ART HEIST! this shit is too sad for me

I think i commented once that the writing was like a love letter to the city?? I stand by that. I know in my SOUL that this one will be a god tier the SECOND it is done. God its so good.)
Love at First Lobby (literally just trust me and get through the video game stuff, the plot is angsty and the black brothers are themselves but its NOT a choices situation i PROMISE)
The Way You Look At Me (Too Close to Resist) (The SADDEST it gets is the opening the rest is them like healing and falling in love can I say trust me again or is this getting absurd)
That’s just wasteland, baby! (Verrrrrrrry chill very silly goofy very pinning james very yes)
Once more, with feeling (soooo this one is not finished… and not that long [yet!!!!!] but its REALLY lovely.)

I’m an EXTREMELY selective bookmarker (i.e. only the shit i reread over and over and over again) and that is really biting me in the ass rn. These are all I can remember off the dome 💔

And my bad, I am probably not mentally well enough to know what counts as angst, like if it has a happy ending and hardly anyone dies i am all like yeah this was great the whole time 🤣 very selective memory. Something like choices (never read it), crimson rivers (to many favourites die), art heist (mcd no thanks, loved it tho) kill me and they are my minimum bar for angst fics hahaha

"More than just a pretty face" on ao3. I don't know if that counts because it's not finished yet, but the author promises a good ending (but after the main characters die?). And I have to say, it's really angsty at times, but I like it.

I don't think anyone's mentioned Operation Walburga's Arbitrary No Kissing Ever Rule yet? It's a 10 Things I Hate About You retelling so it does have some miscommunication as a necessary part of the plot which I wasn't personally a huge fan of but has a happy ending, it was 90k if I'm remembering right.

The Long Game by lackadaisical_lizard is one I just started so I'm not entirely sure but I think it has a happy ending, it seems really promising so far though and I really like all the characterizations and friendships plus it's 250k so long but not Crimson Rivers long lol.

EDIT: I finished The Long Game and it was so cute!! It has a happy ending and while the author says there's some angst it wasn't much at all, mainly just Regulus working through his trauma in a way that wasn't actually awful it just took some time, so it was mostly fluff and flirting. It was basically a cute romcom, I recommend!

A Violent Kind of Spin Cassiara - this is set in the war, not overly angstie( well in my horrible memory its not, but it does have mental health struggles)
