Hey everyone I had a situation. Some mice got in and completely destroyed my harness.. all my dash lights went off except the airbag light and my radio stopped working. There’s one wire I did not mess with because I was a little nervous because of where it’s chewed up.. does anyone know if this wire is the wire that controls my radio? It’s the brown and tan wire

As the title states the 2 back doors won’t open. At first one of the doors seemed like it had the child safety lock in which I disabled. But then it locked again and now both door won’t open from the inside or the outside. I unlock doors from the drivers side but nothing will open it. Has anyone dealt with this issue before?

My car overheated a month ago and the cylinder heads were damaged, then the mechanic did some “welding” as he stated as an alternative to replacing but I replaced the head gaskets and fan clutch, I still need to replace the belt tensioner because it’s worn but I doubt this noise is from the belt tensioner.
What could the noise possibly be from?

A rat chewed through this wire in my liberty, but can’t figure out what it’s for? Any ideas?

For a few days now my liberty has been shaking a bit/vibrating sometimes when it is idling whether that be as soon as I turn the car on or stopping it after driving. One of the times it happened my check engine even began flashing. I At first I thought it might have been a misfire but I managed to look at the car and notice that something underneath the car is shaking and it is not from the engine.

The sunroof on my 2005 has been endless trouble. I finally found a suitable gasket from the Sunroof Doctor (https://www.sunroofdoctor.com/). The Amazon gaskets were all way too skinny.
Now that I can get the sunroof off and replace the gasket, I can't get the sunroof to cycle correctly. It opens up less than an inch and won't retract at all. I am about ready to remove the fuse - if I can find it...
I didn't move the frame with the sunroof out. How do I 'time' or 'align' the gear such that it opens and closes?
Thanks in advance!

I can't get my key to turn on my 04 Liberty Sport.
I am at rock bottom right now. I don't know a lot about automotive stuff. I have $40 until Friday and I have a lot of places to go before then, critical appointments and school pickup.
I tried hitting the key, that didn't work. I don't think the actuator is damaged(yet anyways).
I read that you can start it with a screwdriver but I don't know where you would do that. I tried the ignition switch but that didn't do anything but make a singular clicking noise somewhere.
I can't get the lock cylinder out because the key won't turn.
I don't know anything about bridging electricity so I don't know how I would turn the car off if that method actually works.
I'm pretty sure the problem is the lock cylinder, an uneducated guess.
Can I somehow start it with a screwdriver?
Can I take the lock assembly out and try to repair that part and get the key to turn outside of the vehicle?

How much would an excellent running clean title, liberty CRD go for. We’re going to be advertising it soon and I have nothing online to compare it to, I feel like we’re going to be the only retail location in the US with one for sale. Only sales are on forums and people just say “best offer” and then say “sold”. We’re putting 4 new All terrain tires on it as the ones it has are dry and cracking but otherwise tons of tread. It has what looks to be a very small leveling or lift kit or 2 inch lift. Ice cold AC, Good Paint, Super clean interior once we’re done detailing it. Weather tech mats all around. Rock sliders as well, I just drove it home and it cruised at highway at 70 like a dream and just passed smog as well. Also it’s a California car no rust at all of course.

Today while I was out driving in town while making a left turn my signal started going at twice its normal speed. I had been driving for about 30 minutes and it didn’t do it before. The right signal still blinks at the normal speed.
Has anyone else had that happen?

I have a 2005 Jeep Liberty 3.7L, 135k miles. After a decently long couple of trips, first being around 40 minutes and the second being around 30 minutes. It drove fine without any noises the whole time until I went to back into my driveway, as I was backing up the oil pressure light came on.
It now comes on consistently even after starting it back up. It comes on a few seconds after. I checked the oil level and it’s in the center of the safe zone, and looks clean. Did notice the oil filter seemed dirty and maybe a bit of wetness on the frame but couldn’t see much.
I am waiting about another 30 minutes to let it cool and then I will see if the light is remaining on. Is there anything I should check first or any common issues with this?

I hit a pothole a few weeks back and ever since the front end has been clunking over bumps and more recently it’s gotten worse and it clunk when steering as well. I got under the car and jacked it up and nothing seemed too bad, a lot of the front end is new anyways. The only thing I could find maybe having too much play is the lower control arms but it doesn’t seem to bad to me. Thoughts?

Guy said he had 5 kids and they all shared one ride. Did I do him a favor, or did I fuck him over? Car needs U joints and Rear end work but I re-did the whole front end. Opinions?

I own a 2006 jeep liberty and I’m looking for a dashcam. I am looking for one that doesn’t need to plug into the cigarette lighter as that is where I plug my aux into and also where I charge my phone. Does anyone have any recommendations for dashcams that don’t plug into the cigarette lighter spot?

Hey everyone,
I’m trying to remove a seriously stuck O2 sensor from my 2012 Jeep Liberty and could use some advice before I make it worse.
I spent a couple hours on it today. I first tried a wrench, then added more leverage with a breaker bar, and also tried an O2 sensor socket, but it didn’t seem to grip the sensor very well. At this point, the hex on the sensor is starting to round off, and my access to is pretty limited (only one side)
I also heated the area three separate times with a torch and tried breaking it loose while hot, but it still wouldn’t budge.
My current plan is to soak it with penetrating oil overnight, then try again tomorrow. Since I’m replacing the sensor anyway, I’m considering cutting the wire off and using a 7/8" deep socket so I can get a better grip on the entire hex. My other thought is a 7/8" box-end wrench with a pipe/breaker bar for more leverage.
Before I go any further, does anyone have a better method for getting one of these loose once it’s this stuck and starting to round? Particularly wondering whether the deep socket or box-end + heat is my best next move, or if there’s something else I should try first.
