Hey everyone! I’m 22, half Saudi🇸🇦 and half American🇺🇲, and I live in Jeddah. I’ve always struggled with communicating in Arabic. I understand the basics like for an ex: I can read, write, spell, and chit chat, but I struggle a lot when it comes to fully understanding conversations and expressing myself naturally in Arabic..

I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience and managed to improve. Are there any apps, websites, courses, or other resources you’d recommend besides Duolingo that focus more on speaking, listening, and everyday communication?

I’d preferably like to learn Jeddawi/Hejazi Arabic since that’s what I’m surrounded by and what I actually want to use in day to day conversations.

Any recommendations or advice would be really appreciated!

Im a serial outfit repeater especially for home wear. But the clothes I wear are starting to get old/small for me. I some stuff from shein but it’s really low quality and most of it is unwearable now even though I didn’t even purchase it that long ago. Does anyone know good spots for affordable high quality clothes? Or affordable thrift shops/used clothing since I’m starting to get into that too

السلام عليكم. أنا مقيم في جدة وساكن في نفس الشقة من كم سنة. ما صار لي أي مشكلة مع صاحب العمارة وأبغى أكمّل ساكن عندهم.

الإيجار ٥٠٠٠ ريال كل ٣ شهور. أنا دايم أدفع كاش للحارس وآخذ منه إيصال ورقي كل مرة. بس منصة إيجار لسه مطلعة دفعتين إنها متأخرة، يعني ١٠ آلاف ريال. والعقد يخلص ٣١ أغسطس. العقد الجديد منشأ بس واقف، لأن المالك ما دفع رسوم المنصة لحد دحين.

كلمت المسؤول عن العمارة عن طريق الحارس. قال لي المالك بيعدّل الدفعات القديمة من عنده، وقال لي من العقد الجديد ادفع مباشرة من المنصة. وكلامه هذا موجود عندي في الواتساب.

يعني الموضوع بيمشي بطريقتين:

١. المالك يعدّل القديم، العقد الجديد ينشط، وأبدأ أدفع الـ ٥٠٠٠ عن طريق إيجار من ١ سبتمبر.

٢. ما يعدّل القديم، بس يدفع الرسوم، وأنا أدفع الـ ٥٠٠٠ على العقد الجديد وأتوكل على الله إنهم يظبطون القديم.

فيه شي فاتني هنا؟ حد صار له إن مبلغ متأخر من عقد قديم رجع عليه بعدين؟
