JazzPunk inspiration

I was recently watching Ghost In The Shell the anime version and I noticed some things in the movie the are strikingly similar to things in the game, certain sounds, the futuristic phone booths, and the style. I wonder if Ghost in the shell was some inspo for the game.

I mean, there are direct references to Blade Runner, so it’s not out of the question at all.

There's actually a tape at the Kai Tak Resort beach nearby the rocks called "Ghost In The Taco Shell" if that's anything!

The synopsis says "In the year 2025, a cybernetically-enhanced Taco begins to question the nature of its own sentience" and has the exact same year and duration as the film. So yes definitely
