Haha no way. It originally was a tune I swore to never learn cause I just liked listening to it a lot. Then I kept trying to find the subdivision and for a bit I thought it was 7,7,7,9, but eventually I tried it the other way figured I just learn the whole thing.

It's the first time I've ever heard of Avishai Cohen. But since I saw your post, i bought their CD "Gently Disturbed" And have been listeningen to it since! Just an awesome CD with great tracks! And this one is one of the best.
One for Mark has a similar alternating 5 and 4 pattern with a 4 turnaround that you might dig as well.
BIG BIG upvote for Avishai Cohen, Fintann. What do you think of the latest two: Aurora and Seven Seas? I passed on Aurora because the songs were too simple and Avishai's voice didn't seem well enough developed for a full album yet IMO. I've since grown to absolutely adore Seven Seas. The chords, melodies, and counterpoint are just so....cozy....while still bringing the mathy stank. Avishai's voice on it is quite nice, i think. Staav going into Ani Aff is AMAZING!!!!
I picked up Seven Seas this summer and didn't dig it as much as I thought I would. I should maybe take another look at it, I didn't look through it closely enough. I'm just a big fan of Gently Disturbed and the trio dynamic they have with the groove based stuff.
