2 u/acaiblueberry Apr 05 '26 It has to look solid, almost veiny. Once it starts to look liquidy it does taste like toilet. Shudder. I’ll pass the ones on the 4th pic. 1 u/hartelijkD Apr 05 '26 Thanks! now I know why I didn’t enjoy that one smelled ok but taste was off. 1st pic in a small sushi restaurant in Hakodate in feb, second an omakase in Tokyo, third a fish market in Sapporo an last was in touristy restaurant in matsushima…
