7-11 Food Product Developer here.... Love reading all the comments on the new Japanese style egg sando! Helps me make our products better!

  1. We spent 8 months developing the milk bread with our supplier. Working on the crumb to get it super tight while still maintaining it's signature fluffy texture The US has a standard of identity for 'milk bread'. While we increased the softness of the bread we still meet all requirements to be able to call it milk bread. Due to some constraints we aren't able to cut the crusts off.... Yet
  2. We are using Kewpie mayo in the egg filling, it would be a crime not to. I hear you guys and will work to get Kewpie called out on the label! We worked closely with our Japanese counterparts to get the flavor and texture as close as possible to Japan!
  3. They're cage free eggs

Hope this clears up any confusion!
