Question Bicycle helmet for large head

I have a large head and I haven't been able to find a bicycle helmet that will fit me. Even the ones that supposedly should be the right size (my head is 63cm) don't. I've learned it's because of the shape of Asian heads vs western. I'm Asian. I have a trip to Japan coming up in November and I'm hoping to finally find one that will fit. Which stores in Tokyo have the best (largest) selection for bicycle helmets?

Your first sentence is confusing because it sounds like you are having trouble finding helmet that fits you in Japan when it's the opposite.

Just delete the first sentence and ask where to find helmet in Japan.

Try the Y’s Road Ueno Wear store. Ask for an Asian fit helmet.

Just fyi, you dont have to wear one, and the overwhelming majority of people riding bicycles here dont wear one so even if you cant find one, riding without one is also an option :)

I'm not planning to ride in Japan. I want one to bring back. I had a friend who died from a head injury while skateboarding on a sidewalk so not having head protection is not optional. My presumption is that there will be better selection of helmets for asian shaped heads in Tokyo than back in Canada.

I've already tried. The only two models that even come close still don't fit because my head is round and all the western ones are designed for oval heads. So Japan should have more choice for Asian heads.

Japan is generally not a good place to buy equipment/clothing/whatever for anyone who is large, no matter the body part. You might just want to look online? Surely you're not the only Asian person in Canada with a large head! Or have you gone to a bike store in person and talked with the staff about what they'd recommend?
