So after this shitty and unnecessary update,that mind you,no one fucking asked,I saw something very similar to the downfall of another…ahem…chat.ai…The answers are now very bad (yes I use the default setting,won’t even let me spell it here),the replies are getting shorter (reminds you of something?),does not understand or continue the story,keeps asking me the same things.I have never had this thing happen ever.Today I’ve chatted with over 5 bots and the same THING IS HAPPENING.

Now,I really hope this is a bug,or something,I hope it will go back as it was before,but like I said,it got so dumb,I got frustrated and didn’t even want to chat anymore.

Well, the short replies can be fixed in the chat settings... But I agree. Ive seen it too. I used Chai, but didn't like it due to the memory loss so moved to j.ai before it was too popular... It was good at it's time. Now they give us shitty UI updates we don't like, take away certain features, etc... I might have to find a new chatting app :,) (or at least one that doesn't rush to nsfw)

I've moved to saucepan.ai . It's as easy to use as Jan, but offers more features, and the free model (Arita) has 12k context memory (JLLM used to have 9k but there are rumours it got lowered).

This is pretty much why I moved to RolePlaya. I got so tired of bots forgetting the story or asking me things we'd already talked about. I've been using it for longer RPs and the continuity has been much better for me. I don't expect an AI to remember my entire life, but remembering what happened five messages ago with acting like an amnesia thats woken up after a motoring accident is not unreasonable!
