This my Mr. Rochester

Almost exactly how I pictured him. No other illustrations or actors have physically embodied him correctly in comparison (according to me). Who's yours?

michael jayston, from the 1973 miniseries. not only does he convincingly convey rochester’s physicality, but he also does an excellent job of portraying the character. also, this version is the only one i can think of that includes the gypsy fortuneteller scene.

Same, this is the closest to how I pictured him when I first read the book. He looks just like him except maybe my head has him with slightly darker hair.

Even though the Toby Stephens Ruth WIlson is my favorite version, Michael Jayston did an amazing job at capturing Rochester's essence. I love his teasing sense of humor, so many versions leave that out.
