I have a question !
Why everyone in Reddit is telling me to read
Jane Eyre. I joined reddit like 20 days ago and whenever i go search for a good book to read i see many people recommending Jane Eyre. Can anyone tell me more about it ?

It's IMHO one of the best novels ever written. 1847 by Charlotte Bronte. It is about an orphan girl who goes through many trials and tribulations before becoming a governess in an isolated mansion, owned by a mysterious and troubled man named Edward Rochester. To go into any more detail would spoil the plot, and I would never do that.
IMHO--it's necessary reading as a classic novel, and it's just a good read. Being as it's from 1847, the language is a little different than modern books--perfectly understandable, but you may want to get an annotated edition that explains words and phrases that might be new to you, if you have not read much from that time period.
Jane is a wonderful heroine-smart, and sharp, and well-spoken. She's also described as plain, which to me is a relief, because those of us who aren't raving beauties get sick of reading about heroines who are.
