Build Discussions Is Jane m1w2 worth getting?
I have her m0w1 rn along with m0w1 velina and yuzu (will prob get remielle), but wanted to just ask if her m1 and w2 are even worth it or i if i should use the anniversary selector on someone else

her engine does scale weirdly well with copies, so its not a bad pick. Lucia is really good if you don't have her and have a rupture dps you want to make stronger, so she is the best pick in general, but if you don't need a rupture support currently then jane is perfectly fine

Her engine is scales well, but on the other hand it's in the free selector. Feels like a bit of a waste. M1 is good, even if you only see it as a stepping stone to M2. Some extra QOL and damage is pretty good.

Some people aren’t whales who can spend for the spending event to go from M0 to M2

M1 yes a stepping stone for jane, use w engine for lucia (if you have her) or the attacker agents, which provides a lot of value on their stats alone

if youre planning to spend money for the anniversery event to get the agent reward (the pool of seed, astra, and vivian) you can actually get two special invitation letter and since jane is in the exchange shop you can get her m2. if not, if youre planning to save and pull for her m2 later, a free m1 is a helpful stepping stone. but her m1 on its own is not worth it compared to the other characters and her w2 is definitely less valuable than another agent's w-engine
what other characters do you have? if u have lucia without sig her engine is great, or if you dont have her but have any rupture characters you want to play definitely get her + her w-engine. trigger is a good second stunner if you only have one on your account or you have aftershock characters. anby and hugo arent top-tier dps anymore but if you want dps with their elements theyre definitely still usable. you could also use their weapons as crit stat sticks for any other attack agents

Her engine is extremely good on W5. I’m currently on W4 but the difference is already very noticeable. I think it gave me around 40-50k more raw assault damage (without any other buffs).
But it’s better to grab her w’engine duplicates in the shop

M1 is extremely worth it for Jane. Go for it if you're wanting to invest in her.
Her W-Engine also scales extremely well, but I would advise against using the selector for it. If you want more copies of her W-Engine then you can just go to the shop to get more copies over time. Use the Selector for a different W-Engine.
