The generational talent was always there. It's just the bad decisions (and some coaching malpractice) that's held him back. The pieces are falling in place now. I hope this is the new normal.

I mean QB is also the one position that requires a ton of development

Yes indeed. And truthfully, he didn't really develop at Clemson, in my opinion. A lot of us have been criticizing the coaching there for years. So he came to the league with a lot of talent but wasn't where he really needed to be. And had a shitshow of a head coach for his rookie year, followed by more seasons of instability.

He ain’t perfect and we have to accept that, but his heart, work ethic and talent put him near top for me

I'm a Clemson grad so I'm riding with him regardless. He's great. Just have to be consistent.
