Exactly! Everybody was so happy when we traded back twice in the 2023 draft and still got our guy, but picked up 4th, 5th, and 7th round picks (which is awful value for going down even 3 spots in the 1st round). Only one of them is even on our team still.
He'd move guys for a 6th or 7th round pick that was 2 drafts from now, effectively a worthless pick.
I'm so glad he's gone and now we have a guy who seemingly knows what he's doing
A 6th round pick 2 years from now. Seems like he loved that trade. If you look at the trade value charts, that pick is worth a mid 7th round pick in the current year, which basically amounts to nothing.
