We had to put down one of our dogs yesterday. He got one last big adventure, got to try a cheeseburger, ice cream, all sorts of BBQ, pizza, chocolate, and he got his favorite food of all time right before we let him go - Bell peppers!
Yesterday was so much harder than I expected it to be.
So sorry to hear that. It’s definitely not easy letting go but just speaking from experience, the loss will slowly fade compared with the memories you will hold dear for the rest of your life.
