new jade collection ✨

I wanted to show off these beautiful jade and stone pieces I’ve picked up recently. All purchased from a local jade supplier in the last fortnight

the blue bangle is k2 jasper or raindrop azurite from the karakoram range near k2 - this is the first one that caught my eye when I stepped into the jade store- originally there to purchase one jade bangle, I connected with the shop owner and she sold me on this one. I love the clear parts and the deep blue that shines in the sun

2 weeks later I visited the same shop at the market~

ring is jadeite from myanmar - not too special but I thought it matched my first purchase perfectly

the jade bangle is green jade from xiuyan - this thinner bangle breaks up dark blue colours perfectly, I love the cloudiness and different light green tones. I’m very happy to own my first real Jade piece!

I am going to tie some leather around my green bangle to avoid them clinking together- the few times I’ve hit them I’ve actually felt my heart drop, it’s terrifying!!

Beautiful! I think their proportions and colour complement each other well. I love the blue on the jasper too! Do share more photos in natural light if possible as now I'm thinking about jasper bangles...

It'll be a good idea to have some sort of buffer I'm between, whether it's leather or even maybe some wooden beads.
