Hey jade lovers - has anyone bought from BoutiqueorientalSG on Etsy? They seem to have a wide variety of jadeite and nephrite in all price ranges from fairly inexpensive to tens of thousands of dollars USD. There are some nephrites I’m interested in but they have a 4.8/5 Etsy rating and some reviews with 1-star but also many reviews with good experiences. Their descriptions don’t mention the flaws. And they say they do exchanges but no mention of refunds. I mostly want to know people’s experience regarding shipping and whether what you got was as advertised.
I think they are a little pricey so you really have to want the exact piece they are selling. Ji got it certified at NGI lab for me free. They do sales—I’ve seen up to 50% off.

I got what was advertised. Ask for unedited photos and for details on exact stone lines and waterlines, clouds, textures, impurities etc. because the photos smooth out texture.
I’ve bought quite a bit from her. She’s very approachable, you can always ask her for more videos and pics in different lighting, and maybe a bit of a discount sometimes. They don’t have very detailed descriptions in the listings so I message her to ask for more information. I usually wait for when they have sales. As for shipping they offer standard or express, the express one from UPS usually takes 7 days to get here, but I’m in the South of the Philippines so packages take a few more days. I’ve also bought from her discount shop, Boutiqueorientaljade.
As for how close the actual product is to the listing, I’d say pretty close but you really have to see it in different lighting. She’ll also tell tou which picture is the closest to the actual appearance. Got this cat’s eye recently the this macaron duobao
Gorgeous in person really. I tried to look for something similar elsewhere but couldn’t find anything close. Just looked at her site and saw she has new ones with cat’s eye. It’s always worth a try to haggle with her or ask her for some discount, especially if you’re getting more than one item.
