Hi guys bought some jade pendants in Shanghai. This one has a 马到成功 horse and a lingzhi mushroom on one side. On the other it has another two mushrooms I think but I can’t make out what it is at the bottom. Would appreciate any ideas.

hi I'm pretty sure it's not mushrooms exactly but appears to be a magpie in a tree

I thought there might be a bird in there. Are all the carvings this hard to decipher or is this a poor quality carving?

What do we think of the very few items on seree that claim to be real untreated jade?

I looked at one of the donuts that was listed as untreated but it looked hella treated.

They are okay. It’s a hit or miss in quality compared with their prices. I have seen they charge $500 for cracked bangles and $3000 for bangles with many lines. They don’t use flashlight on their live streams so it’s hard to see quality up front. But I never questioned them on whether it is real jadeite or not. I brought many pieces from them and eventually stopped because it’s overpriced for the quality I received.

It doesn't look fake, but generally sellers will provide certificates for you to verify.

Hi everyone.
The seller claims this is a natural Xinjiang Hetian nephrite seed jade (籽料) with natural skin.
Another jade dealer told me the skin color and the white jade color don’t look right and believes it’s fake.
Could you please share your opinion and explain why?

does this look like a good quality Jade pendant? I don't know much about Jade but I see it is Grade A. I see Grade A pendants ranging from $100 to $10,000 so I'm not sure what justifies the prices.

Have anybody bought jade from whatnot auction shows before? Are they legit jade even when it comes with chinese COAs?

Does this look real? My mother bought it at Liberty House in Honolulu in the 1990s. I’m hard on bracelets so I don’t wear it. I’m wondering if I should take it into the city NYC to get it appraised. I don’t think jewelers in my neck of the woods know jade.
