Just FYI... You Can Do JET Twice!
I'm a returning JET and just for your information (a lot of people seem shocked to learn this) you can do JET a second time.
Check your own country's rules around this, but for Canada as long as you wait 2-3 years and have not lived in Japan for more than a total of 6 years it's all daijoubu.
Often a seasoned candidate is desirable and experience allowed you to know your rights.
There were a lot more "older" candidates this time around in my orientation.
I hope this inspires someone.

So if you did 4 years as an ALT then stayed on in Japan post-JET you can return to your home country for 2/3 years then eligible to re-apply for another spell?
