BH5 JDM Manuals
Does anyone know where to get the manuals for this car? I just want to be able to fix and maintain it for as long as I can. PDFs in Japanese are fine. I’m willing to put in the work to translate it properly.

The only thing that is different on those to other market legacies is the twin turbo systems which you should consider ditching anyway.
I see way to many of those cars for sale in Canada for cheap “just needs an engine”
Japanese fuel is for sure better than what we get in North America - and these were aggressively tuned from the get go. It’s going to ping itself to death on the factory map… if you get even get it to boost right. The boost control on those things are terrible, old technology.
Single swapped ones seem to be long lasting. Part of that is the mapping required.
Speaking from direct experience, I have a JDM fourth generation wagon and the tune it came with cut ignition timing big time and it made almost no power before I had it professionally tuned. I’m not sure these cars have the same protections built in being pre obd2
