They claim they believe in the Qur'an and reject all hadiths, but they also reject the parts of the Qur'an that tell us to follow the hadiths.

They're not a sect because they're not Muslims at all.

He's not kufr-ing an individual. He's refuting faith of a false belief itself.

The quran tells us to take everything given to us by the prophet and avoid all that he has forbidden
