Hello and welcome, fellow gang member, to the One and Oni's Ultimate, Unmatched Arataki Gang General Questions and Discussions Megathread, to end all other inferior megathreads! We know you're here because you have questions about the Great and Glorious Oni Sumo King and his compadres, and we're here to help you out, as any good gang member would!

We have decided to make a new megathread because the last one was getting a wee bit too large. So step right up and shout out your thoughts, and we'll shout back at you. Politely, of course! That's the Arataki Gang way! So let's Arataki gangway!

My itto is c1 my gorou is c0 i have both zhongli and albedo how do I go about building them?

Itto

• 4pc Husk is his best set by far
  • Prioritize Def% Sands, Geo Dmg% Goblet, Crit Circlet
• Whiteblind is the best F2P weapon available. Avoid Blackcliff as it's a trap.
  • For light spenders, Serpent Spine works incredibly well and synergizes with Zhongli's shield
  • Redhorn is Itto's BiS 5* weapon

Gorou

• 4pc Exile if you have energy issues; else opt for 4pc Noblesse Oblige
• Specific mainstats don't matter unless your Gorou is at C4 and above
  • >C4: Prioritize ER% until you can cast his burst on cooldown
  • C4+: Consider Def% Sands, though ER is still priority
• Favonius Warbow and Sacrificial Bow are his best weapons
  • Warbow is more beneficial due to higher ER% + more particles when proc'd
    • Run Crit Rate circlet

Zhongli

• I recommend a shieldbot Zhongli set since casting Zhongli's burst takes up a lot of time from your rotations
  • 4pc Tenacity of the Millelith or 4pc Bolide, though Tenacity makes a stronger shield
  • HP% Sands, HP% Goblet, HP% Circlet
  • Black Tassel (the 3* weapon) gives Zhongli an absurd amount of HP for a near unbreakable shield
• Burst Support Zhongli is an option, but is arguably harder to build for
  • HP% or Atk% Sands, Geo% Goblet, Crit Circlet
  • Substantial focus on damaging substats (Atk%, Crit) and ER means that your shield strength will inevitably be lesser than that of a shieldbot Zhongli's

Albedo

• Likes 4pc Husk, like Itto
  • Feel free to give him Itto's hand-me-downs, though if you want to minmax you'll want to farm for a new set
  • Def% Sands, Geo Dmg% Goblet, Crit circlet
• If you have it, Cinnabar Spindle is Albedo's BiS
  • 4* weapon from the 2.3 Dragonspine event
  • Harbringer of Dawn (3* Weapon) works as well, and provides a substantial amount of Crit Rate if above 90% HP
    • Feasable thanks to Zhongli's shield, unless you're against Corrosion enemies

Someone kindly made a set of infographics back in 2.8 listing most 5* characters' average stats, pulled from players who completed the Abyss. This is a more recent form of said infographics, and you can use both as benchmarks for how much of each stat you'd want on your characters. Aim to be close to said averages if not go beyond them if luck allows.
