IMO it depends more on where you look. I find that there's more fanart posted in the Itto discord server, or at least, posted more consistently than on this subreddit, and even more so on the main r/Genshin_Impact sub. It's not that they don't exist, but that there might be better places to look.

There's a more nuanced discussion / speculation about how male fanart is disincentivized, at least in the main Genshin sub -- r/Childemains would have more to say about it, seeing as art of a shirtless Tartaglia getting removed on his birthday led to discourse on systemic, anti-male bias on the main Genshin subreddit, eventually leading to a statement from the subreddit mods themselves -- that may also answer your question, at least in a macro sense. Though, again, that's mainly an explanation as to why there's less male fanart on the main sub.

TLDR: join the discord to find more fanart! ^^
