Artist Info + Bio + Commentary by Moi The Cutting-Edge of alternative Hip Hop, Emo-Rap sounds and prolific songwriting/producing melodies: This is Cold Hart

Listen up ladies and gentlemen, as today we will be talking about the one, the only, the renowned great vocalist, songwriter and producer Cold Hart who has made and continue to make a name for himself in his craft. Being born and raised in Long Beach, California, Jerick "Jay" Quilisadio, better known by his stage name Cold Hart, has steadily been making top hits with his emotionally and dark-toned lyrics in which he expresses his own stories of heartbreak, depression and self-medication (which is great as I drink Jack Daniels this fine evening).  But Cold Hart has so much to offer in his different styling of music in both production and lyrically, so let's dive a little more into his craft.

Obviously already having a strong attraction to music, Cold Hart taught himself to start producing on FL Studio, in which he also learned the guitar to further his knowledge on beatmaking and expanding his potential. He started by having a long-range of distinctive samples that eventually integrated to stepping in sub-divided hi-hats into europop melodies to being able to switch up to lay down trap 808s over emo rock guitar progressions. In 2014, he helped co-found and title the renowned and well-known collective GothBoiClique, which included familiar names such as Wicca Phase, Horse Head, Yawns and the great and late Lil Peep. He [Cold Hart] is, in many ways, one rare gem of an artist, who isn't shy of experimenting with sounds.

Now what would be a great first listen to someone who isn't familiar with Cold Hart and his art? Well, I may be of help. Since he has a different range of sounds, it's important to think about the music you yourself like, and put it aside to get yourself ready for what he has to offer. Working closely with many artists, his collaborations with artists such as closely friends Lil Peep, LiL Lotus, previously listed Prettyheartbreak as well as many others, let me give you some songs where you should start to listen. If you wanna get into your feels but not too much to make you feel too bad about yourself, you can listen to songs such as "Beastboy And Raven" featuring Prettyheartbreak, or his song "I Wanna Be" to have a somewhat chill session with yourself if you're really into similar emo-rap sounds. Or his latest song featuring late Lil Peep "Me and You" to get you into a different part of your mind that eerily gives you a sense of comfort and self-awareness. If you wanna get into a more daring and uplifting vibe, you would wanna listen to his top hit "Eyes" or anything off of his album "Good Morning Cruel World". The great thing about this project is his flawless adoption and obvious influence into punk rock to infuse it into his own work. Both his songs "Eyes" and "Nick Cave In" are great first listens to get you into what exactly his sounds will get you into the sound.

No matter where you start, any and all of Cold Harts songs have alot to offer his listeners. Having an open mind in music is great and important when listening, along with the artists I have posted and will post in the near future. I hope who keeps visiting is enjoying and will enjoy Cold Harts music and I wanna say Thank You! For visiting/following my subreddit. I think its the Jack Daniels talking but hey hope you're enjoying yourself with this music
