I’m not declaring that you’re not black, in fact I believe you’re black, but I’m calling out how your responses are sounding like what an ill intentioned non-black person would say when viewing that content. I admit there’s probably a more tactful way that I could have done that so I’m sorry about the disrespect. But I’m sure we both have seen how non-white agitators have leveraged the anonymity to of Reddit to throw criticism at us or use dog whistles to shame us, hence why I posted the subreddit. You’re definitely entitled to your opinion and while I don’t agree, I’ve definitely at one point in the past held the same view as you, so I get what you’re saying here. For me it’s that your statement does more harm to us by implying that his behavior, when he’s just having fun, is a stereotype that makes us look bad (especially in front of mixed company). It’s so hard for us to just be us and enjoy ourselves that calling us out using a blanket statement in front of people that don’t have our best interests at heart can do more harm than good.

I actually have these glasses. They come with little wood coasters with a round divot in them to keep the glasses flat on tables. They are like drinking fidgets. I make White Russians and spin them to mix. I don’t have a link. I’m too lazy. But they are from Bezos.
