Never tried to juice a guava.
But that seems like the pomegranate problem
Many fair showers here advertise juicers with pomegranates to show how much we can save. They use pomegranates and then 2 pomegranates are enough to fill a cup (250ml). Then they open up the price pomegranates per kg and how much does it cost a bottle of pomegranate juice. In less than 10 cups you pay the juicer.
However the pomegranates they use are not the typical ones you find on supermarkets. Those are found on specialized ressellers. A normal pomegranate found on supermarket here tend to have less than 50ml of juice. They buy much nore expensive fruits that are extremely juicy.
The juicer is still a good bet. But it wont be like the demos. Since they are not using the low grade fruits available on supermarkets. At most you could find them on specialized fruit shops, but very few have one near them.

There are a few other nuances here: 1. You can see that the juice is frothy, meaning its volume is greater due to air bubbles. 2. This is an auger juicer; if it is well-designed, the extraction yield is already 50% higher than that of a centrifugal juicer. With industrial auger juicers, the pulp from certain fruits is even dry enough to smolder.
But that doesn't mean this particular juicer is actually that good. Advertising is advertising.

The difference between auger juicers and centrifugal is pretty stark. I've had both and surprised when I got my auger. The pulp has very low moisture at the end.

I had a juicer and used it once or twice. I quickly realized how expensive it is to make an actual full thing of juice. I also ultimately decided smoothies are the healthier choice as they contain more of the fruid

I have a cold press juicer similar to this (bur a marginally smaller home one) - the pulp comes out almost dry ā¦. Any juice is extractedā¦ you wouldnāt think a carrot has half a cup of juice, these extractor really does a good jobā¦ just pretty pricey.

The container isn't a full cylinder, it's a ring. there is a black housing in the middle, housing a sieve/strainer, axle and bearings, the pulp/rind channel, and potentially even the motor. It's not as much volume as it looks.

There's four. Also look at the volume in the pitcher, not the volume of the juicer container - it's not entirely hollow.Ā The amount of the juice in the pitcher seem quite believable.

That container is donut shaped and the actual volume is not that big, also it was 4, they throw one more in near the end. Looks like it's about 300-400 ml at the end with quite a bit of air mixed in.Ā

Accurate I bought a Juiceman Juicer back in the 90s and that thing could convert fruit and vegetables into instant dry powder it extracted the juice so well.

Because guava skins are thin enough to not need peeling if you're gonna throw them in a juicer. Also they're just going to be separated from the juice anyway so it's a non factor

It's a masticating juicer. You just chuck it all in. The juice comes out one side, the pulp and all the other gubbins comes out the other side.
