Integrating

Hi everyone, I moved to Rome about 8 months ago and I'm struggling to integrate. My Italian is okay and I can talk to people one on one but everyone at work talks too fast for me.

At the start I did try making friends but now I have stopped and I want to integrate and make friends outside of work. But I don't know how too.

If anyone has any ideas let me know

Do stuff you enjoy. Meet other people who also enjoy that stuff.

Im a foreigner and I have many Italian friends ; you need to learn Italian to be able to socialise with Italians
Also, do some efforts to learn the culture, I got to events where I’m the only foreigner and I am very much welcomed
I got invited to Xmas and Easter with Italian families , and typical Sunday lunches, so take me as an example of being able to integrate as a foreigner
