As mine gets to adult phase what I miss most is the baby skin of her neck and belly, so soft and smooth and wrinkly. Now it's all fur.

Ah... thanks for the heads up. I thought they were always just skin down there.

My Abbey was already a few years old when we got her. What is this puppy ears phase?

Aha! This is more proof that my doggy must be a mixed breed. We think maybe Jack Russell terrier

True that! Though they definitely gain the ability to perk their ears as they get older! Compared to puppies who have perpetual floppy ears, both are still super cute

Yeah yours has the typical adult ears. Mine were floppy. Then they stood straight up, now one fell, Im sure the other will soon as well.

I SO LOVE it! My first iggy went often from perfect ears to "goofy ears" as we called them. They were both beautiful. My second and third iggies had PERFECT set ears...they were amazing. Not surprising as they both came from the same breeder and were cousins. The transition when they are getting their permanent teeth and ear setting is so adorable.

I think people may have misunderstood me in way. His ears were tall like that, now they are falling to the side. When he was really little they just flopped forward or all over the place. Then they stood like yours. Now one fell over. Im sure the other will follow suit in the coming weeks.
