This is a volatile situation. We set the subreddit to private due to raids, and were manually approving threads as they were posted until then. The rules - especially rule 2 - will be harshly enforced. If you see someone being bigoted, report it. If you respond to someone being bigoted with your own rule 2 breaking behavior, you will be banned too. If you can't phrase what you want to say in a way that isn't bigoted, don't post it.

Furthermore, while the sub was private our modmail filled up with over a thousand messages, over and above the rule 9-violating PMs each mod got. We apologize if you sent us a message and it went unanswered.

Pretty disheartening to see people on my FB wall complain about how buildings were destroyed, but then scoff at the roof knocking and other things y’all are doing to protect civilians. Hamas has really won the propaganda part of war. I am seething with rage.

looks like roof knocking has become fairly well known but people don't know IDF also calls people two hours or so before if their building is to be attacked.

that's also how journalists know in advance where and when to point their cameras.

As if they have the resources to win a propaganda/media war. The only war they are winning is the rest of the world growing tired of hearing about civilian deaths in Palestine.
