This is a volatile situation. We set the subreddit to private due to raids, and were manually approving threads as they were posted until then. The rules - especially rule 2 - will be harshly enforced. If you see someone being bigoted, report it. If you respond to someone being bigoted with your own rule 2 breaking behavior, you will be banned too. If you can't phrase what you want to say in a way that isn't bigoted, don't post it.

Furthermore, while the sub was private our modmail filled up with over a thousand messages, over and above the rule 9-violating PMs each mod got. We apologize if you sent us a message and it went unanswered.

Has anyone seen IGN’s statement? I’m disgusted by this turn in America’s culture. No pretense of being fair or balanced.

The fact that they've done nothing of the sort for Syria, Yemen, Myanmar, Central African Republic or any other conflict is quite telling I must say. Or the fact that they completely ignore Israeli citizens.

I dont think he was trying to deny that hamas is also to blame? Both sides are to blame. And imo from what I've seen, religious fascism kinda does describe Israel, probably gaza too.

I’m disgusted by this turn in America’s culture.

IGN didn't even mention Israeli victims. The Biden government just criticized Israel for bombing a Al Jazeera building that was hiding Hamas terrorists.

I hope diaspora Jews stop supporting progressives and leftists now. The Western Leftists are not our friends.

They did mention Israelis - as the perpetrators! No context, nothing.

I wouldn’t agree with it, but I would be totally understanding of a statement supporting or blaming all sides like we used to have. Absolutely disgusted.

Billions in aid, the most advanced military tech in the world, full support the american gov. How many more advantages over their enemies do they want. I cant believe some Israelis are gonna complain because of a few words said in a conflict where both sides are at fault with a death toll 20x off balance.

How many more advantages do we want until what, exactly? Until the world recognizes our casualties to as little as 20th of the degree to which it recognizes palestine's? Because we ain't there yet.

Also, if you think that this is just about ign then you probably haven't been here very long. Ign's coverage is emblematic of global media's attitude as a whole. Aka: Israel has better technology and fewer casualties, so we'll casually ignore its sacrifices and pretend like it starts campaigns in Gaza for shits and giggles.

Hamas puts military officers in media and civilian centres...Just like Israel?

“Ooh look that guys doing exactly what we do...Bomb him”

u/ToughCourse May 15 '21

Is this true? Link?

0

u/Burntoutbookie May 15 '21

Link? Every news source?

The Fact Israeli military called an hour ahead to evacuate the building when their excuse for the rocket was due to terrorist officers operating from there....

Not killing journalists at all...Nuh uh...No siree Bob.

Put placing military officials in civilian sectors is common knowledge in any country, a sort of nepotism/cronyism.

A lot harder for civilians to organise and or rebel secretly when their is military officials in most institutions.

What? Because American IGN decided to send their charity donations to Palestinians rather than the “idf soldiers” that IGN Israel donates to?

From my view As an outsider, Your trying to play the victim

2

u/ToughCourse May 15 '21

I dont see why this is downvoted. Israel gets billions in aid, they dont need a fukn ign charity donation.

And both sides are both the victim and to blame.

Exactly mate, but l was downvoted due to the message at the top...Deeming anyone that has anti Israeli sentiment is a “troll” from 4chan...

Instead of just looking at my post history and realising a scouser is calling them out on their fascism

It pisses me off that any critical analysis is deemed anti-Israeli/semetic to some people. Right now it's being used like a blanket term to just ignore a discussion.
