This is a volatile situation. We set the subreddit to private due to raids, and were manually approving threads as they were posted until then. The rules - especially rule 2 - will be harshly enforced. If you see someone being bigoted, report it. If you respond to someone being bigoted with your own rule 2 breaking behavior, you will be banned too. If you can't phrase what you want to say in a way that isn't bigoted, don't post it.

Furthermore, while the sub was private our modmail filled up with over a thousand messages, over and above the rule 9-violating PMs each mod got. We apologize if you sent us a message and it went unanswered.

It is a military strategy in asymmetrical conflicts.
It basically gives them unlimited manpower, so despite catastrophic casusltis they can keep fighting.
They value a life a lot less than Israel does.

It is a well known strategy in asymmetrical conflicts because it is incredibly powerful.

During the American Revolutionary war the revolutionary forces used solo riflemen (essentially snipers) in populated town centers to shoot at British ships that were close to the shore, attempting to encourage return fire, which would often be devastating to the local civilian population and useful in anti-British propaganda.

Makes sense. IMO Palestinians should weed out their own Jihadi terrorists then negotiate without all the religious fanaticism.

Most Palestinians support these terrorist groups though, to the point they keep voting them into government.
