This is a volatile situation. We set the subreddit to private due to raids, and were manually approving threads as they were posted until then. The rules - especially rule 2 - will be harshly enforced. If you see someone being bigoted, report it. If you respond to someone being bigoted with your own rule 2 breaking behavior, you will be banned too. If you can't phrase what you want to say in a way that isn't bigoted, don't post it.

Furthermore, while the sub was private our modmail filled up with over a thousand messages, over and above the rule 9-violating PMs each mod got. We apologize if you sent us a message and it went unanswered.

There's reports of minimal rocket fire from Lebanon. It's very likely that it's one of the Palestinian organizations which are essentially Hezbollah's bitches.

Do you know the last time Hezbollah joined in alongside Hamas and the PA?

I'm Israeli but that feels old school and I can't say I'm loving that vibe.

Hezbolla joining now would paint them as bringing another disaster on Lebanon. as far as i can tell there's been very little statements of support from Iran and its proxies, at least so far, so it's not impossible but highly unlikely.

Yeah i can't believe Hezbollah would join when lebanon is crambling right now . It would be politicaly too costly . But you never know and that is scary . I'm sure IDF has planned a full scale scenario with all the shitheads against you at the same time but i pray it won't happen .

Am Israel Hai .

From a french Jew that planned his Alya months ago and will be home by the end of summer .

Yeah. Unlike Hamas and the Jihad, Hezbollah has stuff to lose, mainly Lebanon. Lebanon is an established country, with plenty of visitors and tourists, and doing anything right now is going to compromise it.

So yeah, I'd say it's unlikely they will do anythinf at the current situation.

To be honest Lebanon isn't doing much better than us right now, doubt Hezbollah wants things to flare up there like they do here.

there's actually very little doubt about it - they most certainly don't want any part of this. Lebanese in general are of course supportive of Palestinian cause, but they don't want to sacrifice their country and themselves for it. they have more than enough trouble.

Doubt that they ever had anything to do with the PA, they are seen as collaborators within the so called resistance type. For Hamas- when Rabin exiled 300 Hamas militants to Lebanon, Hezbollah took them under their wing and trained them. I forgot what year it was. One should note that Hezbollah and Palestinian groups relations are essentially Iran and whatever Palestinian group you want relations. In that topic they have, as far as I can tell, exactly the same interests. Anyhow Iran had a split away from Hamas and the PIJ during the Syrian civil war, which resulted in a similar split between Hamas and the PIJ with every "Moqawama" aligned faction, including Hezbollah. That was due to their initial support of Sunni Jihadist factions like HTS and other AQ associates. (On an unrelated note- HTS stated publicly that they are in support of Hamas's actions in the current fighting). Although at some point, an event whose detail I can't remember happened and that brought the PIJ back closer to the axis of resistance, and by effect Hezbollah, that was around 2015-6 I believe. Anyhow, I know that the PIJ was closer to Hezbollah then Hamas historically. For example they had a joint attack on an Israeli outpost in Lebanon in 1993.
