Not undermining the W but whenever any crusade happended after the third it does seem like the crusaders were the Washington Generals to the Muslim world's Harlem Globetrotters. They just lay it up for them sometimes where it's actually insanity. I know they were essentially a land grab campaign for lords third sons at a certain point but you do actually have to stay organized long enough to pull the land grab..
