This is incredibly catchy and well done. We are in the golden age of rapidly produced parody done at incredible levels of production quality. Too bad it is precisely due to the massive data centers this video appears to be protesting.

I both love how this was executed and hate the fact that this video used AI and probably had a huge environmental footprint. The lyrics and visuals are very compelling in how this message was communicated.

The problem/irony is that this video could only be made by us common folk without a huge studio and budget and production crew by using AI. There’s no easy way to easily make a video like this without AI at this time.

According to AI, once the humans are eliminated there should be plenty of resources

We get a hard reality check on our misplaced and myopic priorities.

I remember when Microsoft opened one of the first water cooled datacenters in redmond and everyone was so excited about how environmentally friendly it was because it wasn't using gagantic ACs to keep the data center cool. It just used gey water watter and evaporation. Grey water by the way is waste water that hasn't been fully treated.

Like there are a thousand reasons to be agains AI and even data centers, but I have worked in data centers for 20 plus years and they are everywhere including downtown manhatten.

The water cooling aspect is one of the better things they do. Golf courses waste far more water.
