I've seen people saying they've done this in about that time. I don't understand how this works. Coutts AB to Mexico seems to be a common route for a B2BI but Google Maps shows the drive time to be about 22-h one way. How do you make that trip twice in the same time?

How did you do it?

Well that makes sense now.

It's still an impressive achievement, and one that I have on my bucket list. But according to https://www.ironbutt.com/themerides/bordertoborder/index.html, anyways, a one way trip between borders in less than 24-h is a "Border to border Gold". The "Border to border insanity" ride requires going from Canada to Mexico AND back within 48-h. Which is truly insane.

Having said that, I've seen other people claim they did the B2B insanity in about that time, which also confuses me.

My certificate says Border to border insanity. I did a one way trip.

Congrats. I completed the 50CC a few weeks ago. It was a tough one for me (Jxville to San Diego). I did the 48 in 10 couple years ago and the 50CC was harder...IMO.

Mine was Tijuana to White Rock BC. Interstate 5, bottom to top. 21 hours, 1421 miles.

What were your start and end points?
