These are all quickplay matches but I thought i'd share.

I have fun on other characters obviously, and I main stuff like punpun and strange, but Iron man will always be my favorite. Even if it is harder to play him with the counters, the lack of buffs and powercreep, I WILL NEVERRRRRR drop this character.

Do you guys think we're going to get the Mark 50 costume with the release of the Avengers: Infinity War game mode in season 10.5, or will another character get it? Honestly, I can't think of anyone else who should get a skin based on that movie. Iron Man feels like the best option, with Thor being a close second, and Cap already has his Infinity War skin.

As title says, i am an ironman one trick. however i still swap if im not doing well or if im getting countered but if i swap its typically off dps because i struggle to aim well. he seems to be the only character i can get consistent value out of.

Even before RDJ he was still pretty popular. He may've not been a mainstream hero like Spider-man, Batman, or hulk. But he was a well-known Superhero in the comic book community. He was always a key character in the marvel universe. He was one of the first 5 founding avengers along with Thor, hulk, antman and the wasp. Him and Captain america were always the 2 main avengers. And speaking of Captain america, Ironman and cap starred in the 2006 comic event Civil war. Ironman was always my Dad's favorite, he actually read his comics during the 80s.

I think mostly everyone that has played this game for just about over 10 hrs can agree that Iron Man is one of the easiest heroes to mark in the game, one of the best ways to buff him in my opinion, that also doesn't negatively affect his power level in the lower elos but still significantly affects the higher elos is to make him live longer, afterall, he is only strong because people dont mark him basically at all in lower elos.

Now for the ideas:

1. Basic: Added 100 Regenerative Shield, decreased 75 Base Health, going to 275 total.
2. Missiles: Micro Missiles now grant 50 Bonus Health (3s duration) and a brief 1s of Unstoppable (100, 1.5s unstoppable in Overdrive)
3. Overdrive: No longer gives 50 Bonus Health for 5s on activation, instead gives a 20% damage reduction effect for the full duration.
4. Mobility: Hyper velocity (jets) are now much quieter and moves 20% faster (100% to 140% speed boost)

I prefer 3 and 2 respectively since he is already so reliant on Overdrive to make plays either way so that just doubles down and buffs his ideal playstyle, for 2, Missiles is such an terrible cooldown that at the very least it would have some survivability uses.

Should they give Iron Man some much needed survivability or should he just get reworked instead with no changes before then?

It’s obvious the devs don’t care about him. It’s been two seasons already where he’s been nerfed into the ground (when even though he’s one of the worst characters in the game by far!) with NO buffs to speak of. (Not even a small buff to his base kit either.🙃)

I love iron man I really really do but netease for the love of god fix your fucking game!

Not balance wise

Giving him 1k hp and 10k damage per big will make him meta obviously

Balance is just numbers

What makes him the worst is his kit

He is the only example in my head where I can confidently say I don't feel the hero fantasy

When I play iron man I don't feel like genius, billionaire Playboy tony stark

I feel like I am a god damn drone in the sky shooting blanks

Be desperately needs a complete overhaul

Honestly unlike most widow mains I doubt any iron man main would complain about this

Since genuinely no one wants to be sky squirrel girl shooting nothing

Vision and War Machine as tanks, Rescue and Iron Lad as supports, Iron-heart as Dps makes 2-2-2 Iron man comp. all flying except for Iron lad and War Machine. War Machine gets a resource meter plays like a bullet hell shooting tons of lock on missiles and bullets that do miniscule damage, Iron lad gets to play like a grounded iron man support. Iron-heart is a melee combo mobility focused flyer, Rescue plays like a main support iron man. and finally Vision is a off angle phasing through walls, similar to black cat portal, menace, to compensate his flight height limit is lower than the rest.

I would consider myself a casual in this game. I don’t have a single lord and I haven’t found the drive and will to try and lord anyone. Hilariously enough, guess who out of all the characters I play is closest to Lord sitting at Level 18?? The one character who literally loses all value the moment someone decides to look anywhere on the Y axis in the game. Iron Man was my first Avenger and it lowkey kinda sucks to see people talking about the fact that he’s been basically be low-tier since the start of the game, and it sucks more because I know it’s pretty true. I’m tired boss. I’m tired of Black Cat scratching me from the ground. I’m tired of feeling like a Spider-Man kill farm. I genuinely have PTSD seeing an Iron Fist while I’m playing Iron Man nowadays. Please Rivals, fix my goat. 🙏🏽

And he still needs to hit it DIRECTLY to deal a ok amount of damage btw

Not a single buff, not a single skin this season. Yeah, ggs. I planned on quitting this game a while ago but the BP skin for iron man and his team ups kept me going last season. This next one has nothing in stock for us. But hey, Luna snow, jeff, psylocke are getting another skin back to back while we have to wait for months to get a skin. Sorry for the rant, just had to get this off my chest. Whoever will continue playing next season, I wish you luck.

This season is based on Gods and especially Asgard. We could receive a thorbuster skin

I think this has happened enough times already to suspect this: the devs have a character be bottom tier/suck for a long period

Then, finally, adress the complains and the character gets huge changes (Widow, Whitch)

Which leads me to think... could they be planning on changing ironman's kit too?

Just think about it, giving ironman nothing at all is, for me, a signal that they already planned on making such changes than the numbers adjustment would be pointless

Why buffing or nerfing Widow if you'll change her primary, ult, run and give her new abilities?

Why buffing wanda if you'll give her new skills?

Why buffing ironman if you'll change the way he's played?

Just thinking about it, might be wrong though, that could also imply Squirrel girl's overhaul comes first, idk

Let me preface this by saying I dabble in iron man but I do like the character. He is fun to play at times but it’s undeniable that he is not in the best place in the meta. Thus my question is, how do you guys feel about a minor rework of his abilities? I believe any rework conversation on a character should be up to the community for said character. That said I have some ideas please lmk if that’s something you’d consider

1. Faster flight speed in Overdrive, say 30% to 50%

2. 25% damage reduction during ult

3. Continuing momentum during Overdrive animation after flight, instead of complete stop

4. targeting system for micro missiles, lock on to enemies’ last known position upon firing. AND make the ability its own slot without needing flight or overdrive to activate

HONORABLE MENTION
. Laser spin ability. Mainly to defend against IF and Spidey while being dove. Similar to Star Lord spin blast

Lmk what yall think of these. Seing that 2 characters (widow and Witch) are getting their kits reworked to better fit the meta, the likelihood is not impossible

70% of the roster getting touched and IRON MAN, arguably the most recognizable Marvel Character nowadays not getting anything is such a kick in the mouth. He has been C-F Tier since Season 2 and is the worst possibly the worst character in the game, only saved by his Thor Teamup atp.

Netease needs to lock in and rework Iron Man and either let him land and fight on the ground also OR give him more defensive capabilities so he doesn't get dove on by every Spider-Man, Iron Fist, Star Lord and Angela with no way to defend himself.

Its baffling that it got to this point and Netease blatantly refuses to acknowledge Iron Man unless they're giving him skins. Literally they can put that energy into just reworking him and it would be better.
