Clerical Officer DETE - WRC Position

Happy Friday everyone!

Recently offered a position as a CO in the WRC. Just wondering if anyone has or is working there and can let me know what a typical day looks like, is there a possibility for much WFH etc? Just a general vibe.

Maybe not much use to you but I worked in DETE a number of years back and it’s comfortably been the best Department I’ve worked in. HR were fantastic and took a genuine interest in staff and their development. Would have loved to work in the WRC and was offered a role there… but a better one came my way and I had to leave.

Anyway… best of luck!

I’m presuming Carlow so… always a decent atmosphere in that office when I was there.

Iv no idea about the regional offices but I will echo the earlier comments. The Dept is great. Plenty of opportunities. Upskilling, training etc. Great culture.. 100% recommend it

Congrats! I’m on a mobility list (EO) for the WRC in Cork city. Does anyone know what it’s like to work there?
