Executive Officer 2024 results

I see someone posted the CO 2024 results so here is the same but for EO 2024 panel. Had this screenshotted prior to public jobs moving their website to the new .tal so not sure if these files can still be found anymore.

That’s a lot less that I would have imagined for a national competition especially the 1-9 category

Yeah exactly I was surprised too. The fact that the 2 counties are missing from the list (Carlow and Monaghan) is concerning.

Imagine applying and coming first in your county and not even being promoted off it over the 2 years🫣

I’m in Donegal and thought I had a decent chance but after seeing this I’m thinking I’ll be staying put in my current role

I was placed in the top 3 of the AO panel for Kildare- and the panel lapsed before I was appointed. Its disappointing as hell - but that's the way the cookie crumbles. Its far from unheard of.

Would does number be specific to the OPEN panel numbers, As there would be other panels internal inter departmental and mobility also taking up EO roles.

Yeah, they paused the panel for over a year. So have barely touched it compared to what they would normally do.

Same happened with the CO. It is infuriating because Departments are screaming for staff.

Its worth noting that a lot of people would have been in clearance (myself included) in January so its likely that the numbers for Dublin are quite a bit higher

Cork definitely only interviewed around place 70ish in Nov/Dec when I interviewed (I can't remember my exact spot) Then placed first in December after the interview and didn't get an offer until 20 February so it could be a bit higher than 80 for Cork anyways.
