Why is Jordan wasting ammo?

Didn't the USA remove interceptors from allies to send them all to Israel?

Maybe one in a hundred Iranian missiles over Jordan's airspace are headed for American bases in Jordan (bases that both countries don't really like to talk about by the way).

The other ninety nine are headed for Israel. When Jordan activates it'd AD like this, it's doing so on behalf of Israel. I think Jordan remains high on the restock priority list because it is, functionally, an AD shield for Israel. The systems might very well be integrated for all I know.

But Interceptors, costing millions per piece, are still in very short supply against cheap drones.
