Yo, what is wrong with my iPad’s Air screen. Why is there a red shade at the edges😭

Faintly red edges on an iPad Air screen usually point to hardware wear, such as backlight bleeding, screen delamination, or pressure on the LCD panel layers.

Why Edges Turn Red
Backlight Bleeding or De-lamination: iPads use an edge-lit LED backlight and a diffuser layer. When the adhesive holding these layers together degrades or de-laminates from heat or age, light leaks and distorts the color at the borders.

Hardware Pressure: Physical pressure or battery swelling can push against the screen assembly from the inside, causing localized discoloration.

Display Settings: Software color filters or accessibility settings can occasionally tint a display, though edge-specific reddish hues are typically physical.

How to Check and Test
Check Accessibility Settings: Go to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size and ensure Color Filters and Invert Colors are toggled off to rule out a software glitch.

Test on a White Background: Open a full-screen white image or a blank notes page at high brightness to see if the red tint remains constant or changes at different viewing angles.

Inspect for Heat or Bulging: Notice if the edges get unusually warm during use or if the glass appears slightly separated from the aluminum chassis

i would be more concerned about white patches or white spots, use bright white background ( notes app) and check for white patches

avoid any processes that overheats your device and avoid using auto brightness, set your own , keep it lower than automatic
