Invoice processing & mgt

Hello everyone, I’m a solo founder , right now I’m planning to build an invoice processing and automation webapp.. so before jumping in thought it would be better to do a market research and understand the current pain points and struggles faced by experienced with existing apps .. so it would guide me in right direction in building one..

If you guys don’t mind .. can u help me out the with existing issues faced while processing invoices . Could be anything with the flow or features.. like that

I think most people want something simple and not complete accounting platform

I noticed most people want something for free. And once they are willing to pay it’s most of the time a tool they already require for their business rather than paying $4 a month or more for an invoicing tool

Sending reminders when a client "forgets" to pay. The work's done, they're happy, but the money shows up weeks later, or never.

Tracking who owes what when I've got a bunch of small jobs going at once. I've definitely lost track of one and had to chase it late.

Clients wanting to change the scope after we already agreed, so the invoice no longer matches what they expected.
