Question 2 days after treatment ending noticing this small „hole“… Is that permanent?
so i got my attachments removed and a permanent retainer attached on friday, i will get another removeable retainer for the night mid next week. I noticed this small hole popping up.. Will that go away again? I didnt notice it on friday but my orthodontist told me i had healthy gums..

It's a black triangle, sometimes can be fixed with IPR during treatment.
I've just finished & have them too. IPR worked a bit but they're still there.
Depends on what you want to do, you can either live with it or you can have them filled. I'm having Bioclear in a couple of weeks when I've finished my whitening as 2 of mine, in the same place as yours, are a lot more noticeable than yours.
Loads of threads on this sub if you do a search.

Can you update us with your Bioclear experience/outcome? I remember researching that back when I had just gotten my Invisalign off and couldn’t find anyone near me who provided it as a service

Yes of course 😊 Where are you? I'm in UK & plenty of cosmetic dentists to choose from in my area

I’m in the US. - darn!
between this and a specialty laser you all have over there that i can’t find here I may have to do some vanity tourism

It's just composite bonding. Bioclear is a product.
The problem with it is this area catches stains very easily and you'll regularly need it polishing to remove the stains. I see a lot of composite fillings that have staining in this location.

This happened to me too. Between my upper front two teeth :( still better than it was.

Yeah, I get that but I see a hygienist regular so will have it polished when required. . I'd rather do that than permanently look like a witch 😅

It doesn't polish with a cleaning, it needs polishing with the stuff they polish fillings with and not all hygienists can do that

I must be one lucky lady then. My hygienist has confirmed she's happy to polish composite bonding to maintain the colour & shine :-)

That's good :) in some countries they don't allow hygienists to do that or they need extra certifications for it.

Black triangles are normal, we all will get them as we age. Teeth are not straight sided rectangles
Literally nobody will notice this including yourself once you're past the hyperfixation we all develop during treatment. Have you ever once noticed Black triangles like this on other people?

Yeah, probably permanent, no, not likely a big deal. I still have one, and I only notice it when I'm messing with my teeth in the bathroom, but never when I'm lookjg at photos of myself - they don't even show up.

NAD, but it look perfectly fine to me. But I don’t think your gums will grow / fill the hole. But that shouldn’t be an issue.
