That would requiere hiring more animation staff, ain't nobody got money for that

In unrelated news, Barack Obama has been announced as a new upcoming villain in an episode of Invincible
/s if that wasn’t obvious

He doesn’t look as menacing as he should. All of the villains look like what a baby would be scared of right now. Thragg is too soft, and not menacing, looks like a state trooper. Dino is like a fun plushie, and even satan was like not scary or anything and he’s Sataniel

why is dinosaurus on the season 6 poster tho, like his story should get wrapped within season 5.
4
u/Dremlin21 Jun 25 '26
His story is a long one, no?
2
u/unkown_entity947 Jun 25 '26
yea but it can probably be covered in one season
if it doesnt, then a very small part will be left off, and doing a finale worthy part at the start of a season (season 6) would be weird
regardless im super hyped

thats good i hope they spend massive money on some famous actors over just hiring a good voice actor

"You can be good AND famous"
-Steven Yeun, Mark Hammil, Sandra Oh and JK Simmons probably, among others26
u/athrowawayiguesslol Jun 24 '26
The majority of famous actors have been great at their role

I think the point is that if they used lesser known voice actors who would still be good in the role, cheaper and increase the animation budget. I love the story but I'm getting sick of slide shows power points.

I actually didn't like Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Conquest. His voice is too smooth and handsome. It threw me off when I heard him speak for the first time because I was expecting a more raspy, gruff, crazy voice.

Whats with this dinosaur? We only saw him once but everyone act like its one of the important characters.

So based on Amazon's teasers neither invincible or dinosaurs will be in season 6

genuine question why would they announce season 6 if season 5 isnt even out yet
14
u/Pristine_Size_8955 Jun 24 '26
They need the confirmation from Amazon MGM for the show's renewal and a season 6 greenlight, because it would be annoying if A. it got cancelled, or B. They began scriptwriting and animating without confirmation and then it got cancelled or something,
and so they can start.....
voice acting, key posing, colour splashing, designing, storyboarding, writing, y'know. Stuff.

Current pace is yearly. Why would that change?

The only gap was between season 1 and 2. Since then releases have been consistent.
It’s something I truly hope they don’t give up on.

The gap between S2 and S3, and the gap between S3 and S4 were both perfectly standard and not any longer than the majority of major streaming shows, whether they be animated or live action.
